R.G.C.A. opened in September 1979, with the conviction that God wanted us to teach our children His ways every day and not just Sunday. The School is an A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) School. Since 1979, we have been seeking to make improvements.
We now are accredited through the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS, (N.A.P.S.) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The most asked question, and sometimes the only question asked is, “Are you accredited?” The accrediting agency’s number is: (405) 634-7778.
Four years ago we computerized our classrooms, and have digital high speed Internet, with filters and monitoring systems. In the future we will continue to make changes that are deemed necessary to insure the best in Spiritual and academic training for our students.
When the school was first opened, eligibility was opened to anyone who wanted to enroll. Through the years, changes have been made to allow only children of members of Rio Grande Baptist Church or other local area, Baptist Churches to attend. The purpose of this is that the school is an extension of the church, and teaches the same doctrines as taught in Baptist Churches.
