The Rio Grande Christian Academy has finally been “Fully Accredited” by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), a division of AdvancED. This means we will be able to award fully accredited diplomas. However; we will still retain our high standards of credit requirements, and will not be involved with dual-enrollment.
After several years of intense research and a lot of hard effort on the part of the entire staff at RGCA, we finally made it. This accreditation now puts our school on equal ground with any school in the United States, and qualifies our graduates for scholarships and grants that are available nationwide. It will still be up to the parents to work with their students to begin the process of acquiring those scholarships, but now the door is open that should make it so much easier to find opportunities.
